Lightning

Am I worthy to witness such power,

Am I truly ready.

Should I second guess myself,

Or should I NOT beware.

The lightning strikes,

The thunder sounds,

The earth shakes it’s humble grounds.

For in the sky the lightning cracks,

And of the earth the people shout.

For on this day,

For of this night.

People have just witnessed,

A mighty power.

A mighty might.

For they have seen,

God’s lightning strike.
