This is my blog, M.E. Williams. Glad to see someone showed up. This blog will have everything from Poetry to Fantasy, but mostly Fantasy. I am looking forward to being able to publish my work. Hopefully you are as well, and hopefully you decide to stick around for a while. If you don’t, know that I’m not planning on leaving anytime soon. I’m really excited about taking you into my world that lies beyond this one. Buckle up because my mind is never ending.
She’s Right
I think too much,
I need to stop thinking.
But only,
When I don’t know what to think.
That’s when I act.
I spend so much time thinking,
So much time trying to figure out what to do,
So much time forgetting to act.
I forget to live.
I forget to love.
I forget what I stand for,
Because I’m not willing.
I’m not willing to run,
I’m not willing to scream.
I’m not willing to dive.
I always say,
Maybe one day.
But one day,
I will look back and say,
Why didn’t I
Why didn’t I take that leap of faith.
Why didn’t I run.
Why didn’t I try to fly,
even though I knew I might fail.
But I wouldn’t have,
For true failure,
Is the loss of will,
The loss of drive,
The loss of action.
Failure.
Is giving up.
What to do
Am I over exaggerating?
Am I gonna lose her?
Will I get a second chance?
And if I do, will I have the courage to do it?
I’m scared
For once I feel like crap, and I’m admitting it.
Maybe this is good, but probably bad.
But who knows.
All I know is if I give up right now.
I will Never get my chance.
To fix what I’ve wronged.
Goodbye/ Hello
To start things off. Goodbye! I literally loved this class, you are all amazing people and writers. I can’t believe what has happened, but it has so I’m over it. Guys! PLEASE DON’T GIVE UP!!! There is a whole world out there, and though you may be trapped, you’re not dead. Y’all’s keep writing! You write amazing, beautiful, weird, fun, crazy, fantastically wonderful things.
Now, Hello! My name is….

So… let’s begin. This is my new chapter…. of life. No school, just work, I need something else to do than see my co-workers. I’m gonna post one… post every week after school. And I’ll try and make it really good. May even try and write a novel, we’ll see.
Love you guys! See you in… your writing!
Good luck, we have a long life ahead of us. Take advantage of the time you have and live in all the ways you CAN. Soon enough the clock will strike 12 like in Cinderella, and what we thought was horrible, will become the good old days.

Courage
I learned that I love to talk, but I never do. And now that I never get to talk to anyone, I want to talk. I’ve been thinking about all the things I’m not gonna back out on when isolation is over.
All the dates I should have gone on.
All the numbers I should’ve gotten.
All the friendships I should have recreated.
All the people I should have let in.
All the time I should have spent on what really mattered.
When this is over, I’m not backing down again.
Mirror
What if you lived on the clouds upside down? What would that be like? Your whole world shaped in the form of the clouds. Only the clouds aren’t the clouds anymore, the ground is. The ground is in the sky now. And you’re about to be crushed by it’s heavy weight. The hollow ground beneath you is infinite. Space, nothing and everything forever. Never reaching anything. But my home in the clouds is falling to the sky. The ground! What do I do now!
Her
No I definitely like her,
Are you sure about that?
Yes! I’m positive,
I don’t know if she’s right for you.
I know she is different from the other girls,
How?
She just is, she is so easy to talk to, and not just about mooshy stuff, but actual stuff. She has lived a real life, she’s faced challenges. She is scared unlike the other ones, and that’s what makes her so beautiful.
And her voice?
Her voice is unparalleled.
Lightning
Am I worthy to witness such power,
Am I truly ready.
Should I second guess myself,
Or should I NOT beware.
The lightning strikes,
The thunder sounds,
The earth shakes it’s humble grounds.
For in the sky the lightning cracks,
And of the earth the people shout.
For on this day,
For of this night.
People have just witnessed,
A mighty power.
A mighty might.
For they have seen,
God’s lightning strike.
The Storm
There was darkness all around. The cold rain seeped into my thin cloths. The wind penetrating my shirt as if nothing was there. The wet cotton flapping against my skin, in rhythm with the wind. The air freezing the water to my back. This may seem bad at first, but once I got over the first initial shock, it was fine.
I take a deep breath. The wild cool air fill my lungs, then it leaves taking my warmth with it. But not just my warmth. Everything. It all just funnels out of my mind. Leaving my head clear. I take another deep breath. The air enters, not quite so harsh this time, but still having the effect. My mind is clear. I can see clearly. My heart is soft. The rain can shape me. My body is at peace. The cold cannot harm me. My soul… is reborn. Though the storm controls the elements, it will not control me.
I have been given another chance. I will face the storm head on in battle. I will vanquish that which brings darkness. I will use the bait it has tempted me with. Only I will use them against it. I will not fall, I will not succumb, I will not rest. For idleness weakens the mighty, and loss weakens the strong. I will find victory. I will reap of the glory. I will release the light within me.
Under the Sun
What do I want?
It’s not the sun if you’re wondering.
I don’t really know.
Is it the girl,
The home,
The friends I’ll never see.
Why can’t I just decide,
What I truly want.
I think and I think,
Just to make the answer.
But it never comes,
Never finds a way.
I wish life was simple,
But so do we all.
Things would be so easy,
Not to care at all.
For the sun rises, the sun sets. Life goes on, and never ends. If a sun rise was easy, it wouldn’t be worth it. But since it’s hard, it’ll never be a mistake. And under the sun we do live. So why not look to him, so we can find our way.
Chapter 1 The Kingdom Part 2
They continued up the main road toward the center of the outer keep. Then they turned left, and went straight into an alley. A market alley. It was fairly large for an alley, but that’s probably why it’s called a market alley and not just an alley.
“Woah,” Will said, pulling on the reins to bring the horses to a stop. “We’ll set up the produce here.”
“Ok.”
They stood there for a couple of hours. The flow of customers was pretty even. They sold about a half of Dragon Heart Beats, almost all the Burning Bush Berries, and a third of the coal oat. Practically no Boom Shrooms though. That’s odd. Most people bought lots of Boom Shrooms. I guess not this year. Maybe people are getting sick of them. No matter, that just means more for us when we get home.
“Hey will, when are we going home,” Jack whined.
“ We head home at the end of the day,” Will said, while handing a man 15 lbs. of Coal Oats. “Not as fun as you thought it would be?”
“Nope not at all.”
“Welcome to my life,” he said, under his breath.
“I’m gonna go look at that guy’s book shop across the alley.”
“Don’t get into any trouble,” Will said, pointing a knowing finger at Jack. “You tend to get in trouble, and it’s not gonna be too fun if you get in trouble with someone from the city.”
“Fine, Dad,” Jack said,jokingly.
He’s such a trouble maker sometimes, I really hope he doesn’t get into any trouble. There was one time he convinced our dad to let him go down the canyon alone. Five minutes later he came running out of the canyon with a whole herd elk charging at him. And that’s not a very easy thing to do. Will watched as Jack walked over to the shop, and started looking at the trinkets. He brought his attention back to the alleyway. It seemed to be thinning out. In fact there were hardly any people in the ally at all, other than the merchants selling. Something felt very strange. The streets were never this empty, especially at midday.
Out of nowhere a force blasted Will over his cart. It was almost like wind, but the force didn’t come from the air. It came through the wall, not air but an actual force. They had to get out of there.
“Jack!” Will yelled across the alley. “Jack, get over here, we need to go now!” Screams and cries started echoing over the entire city. Only being magnified by the alley in which they stood. Jack quickly dashed over to Will.
“Wil, we need to hide.”
“No, we need to run. There is nowhere to hide, we’re in an alley where can we hide?”
“The old man said we need to hide now!”
“The merchant was old, but not old enough to be called old.”
“Not the merchant, the old man.”
“Jack you don’t know what you’re talking about, let’s get out of here.”
Right as Will said that, a person hopped onto the wagon and whipped the reins of their horse. Will and Jack immediately jumped into the back of the wagon. Will seized the person on the seat of the wagon. Grabbing the reins out of their hands. “Hey! What do you think you’re doing, this is my wagon.”
“Not anymore it’s not.” said the female voice.
“Oh ya, says who?”
“Says them,” She said, pointing behind them down the small street. Will saw five inhuman bandits charging at them, at an alarming speed. The one in lead looked half goat half man, with massive spiral pointed horns. “And if you don’t let go of the reins, we’ll all die.”
Will quickly let go, realizing he had no idea what was going on, and was in better hands by trusting a person who did. The goatman’s left man hurtled a black spear straight at Jack, but slightly missed, piercing through the wooden boards of the wagon. The lizard-like creature gave a little grin, then disappeared leaving behind clouds of shadow. An instant later the creature appeared right above it’s spear, adn right next to Jack. Jack screamed as the thing grabbed his arm. But before it could do much else, the hooded girl flung her arm back releasing a small blade that broke the board holding onto the black spear. The spear dropped to the stone road. Then the monster quickly followed disappearing and reappearing again. Only Jack was right next to him. All of the bandits immediately stopped. Happily claiming their prize.
“Jack!” Will yelled. “Turn back!” he said, pleading with the girl. “Please, he’s my brother, I can’t lose him.”
“No,” she said, firmly. Will felt enraged. How could a person be so cruel. He grabbed the reins and tried to yank them away from the hooded girl. She yanked back, causing the horse to change direction. He countered with another tug, then shoved her with his free hand. She released one hand, then reached into her coat and pulled out a knife. Holding to Will’s neck.
“Fine,” Will said, letting go of the reins. “You win.”
“Thank you. Now if you’ll let me, I’m going to take you to a safer place in this city,” She said, taking a sharp right turn into a dark alleyway. She pulled the horses to a stop, then placed the knife back at Will’s neck. “Don’t try anything funny, I don’t want to have to use this,” she said, gesturing to the knife.
“Okay, okay,” Will said, in a soft voice. Trying to soothe the strange character. “I get it. I don’t listen to you, I die.”
“Good,” She said, right before hammering him in the head with the pommel of the dagger. Everything went dark.
